In many cultures Mushrooms are considered as a symbol of luck. Signifying our rise from the darkness after months of lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 4 to 6 meter high, illuminated Shrooms appeared when Absinthe re-opened on October 28, 2020.

amigo & amigo interactive lighting and design studio explores the combination of light and sculpture in public and commercial spaces. The Sydney-based studio works with expert electrical engineers to customize lighting elements that adapt to their experimental forms. Predominantly large scale, technically complex and playful in nature, their projects are designed to transform environments into memorable experiences, inviting audiences to interact with the work.
