Sara Hodges earned a BFA in painting from the College of Fine Arts in Boston. With a diverse artist bio including theatrical scenic painting and teaching at MoMA’s experimental after-school program, Sara has been commissioned to create many visual stories over the years at Spiegelworld’s venues.

The sculpture is about identity, performance, transformation and the labor that goes into being an artist.
