Buckle up buttercup, because we’re about to take you on a wild ride through one of the most outrageous weekends Las Vegas has ever seen. You guessed it, we’re talking about our fifth-anniversary bash, and oh boy, was it a barn burner.
We started off with a packed house eagerly awaiting the infamous Madam Boozy Skunkton and her tantalizing crew. They didn’t disappoint, pulling out all the stops with their wild and wonderful antics, and for the big finale, they brought out the famous Blue Jackson Five. The crooning cowboys hit the stage to perform an outlandish mashup of “Fat Bottomed Girls” and “Baby Got Back,” and the place just erupted—five Blue Jacksons singing in harmony was something you had to see to believe.
The adventure didn’t stop when the show came to a roaring close. Dressed in their farm-fresh best, everyone wandered the Saloon’s secret passageways and stumbled upon Atomic’s newest speakeasy, The Cow Hide. This hideout was buzzing with energy as everyone enjoyed newfangled drinks. There was line dancing to classic country hits and surprise performances that kept spirits high into the wee hours. And yes, we milked a cow.
The highlight of the night? The christening of The Cow Hide with a magnum of Veuve Clicquot. Hidden just inside the labyrinthine entrance of the Atomic Saloon, this speakeasy is where you’ll find us—probably alongside a cowboy and a nun—chugging beers together and belting out Zac Brown tunes. Spiegelworld’s wizard of the wet bar, Niko Novick, has mixed up a wild drink menu here. Whether you’re in the mood for a Serious Mootini, a Dairy Godmother, or even a non-alcoholic Disco Cowboy, there’s something to tickle your fancy. Open from 5 p.m. till the stars fade, Tuesday through Saturday, The Cow Hide is the place to be, no show ticket required—but why miss out on the fun?
