This commission kicked off a long-running creative partnership between Spiegelworld and Matthias Clamer, a celebrity, entertainment, and portrait photographer known for his creativity and sly wit. Matthias is from Germany and went to school in England where he graduated with a B.A. in Art.

The sculpture is about identity, performance, transformation and the labor that goes into being an artist.
