The Holy Roller is a slot machine that uses machine learning to generate new pieces of life advice upon every pull of the handle. The sculpture is fed 500,000 quotes from throughout history and writes a new unique quote for each person who pulls the lever on the machine. The piece was inspired by the dopamine release that exists both in the mind of a gambler and that feeling we get when refreshing our social media feeds.
